Best 5 Ingredient Smoothie, Ever!

Thank you for sharing!

Smoothies can be a hit or miss when it comes to making the right one; My favorite by far is made with only 5 ingredients!

Fresh smoothies make an easy and healthy snack for us mamas and really people of all ages and most health conditions!

For my family and I the month of February was one of the longest months of the year.

Unfortunately, we all got that nasty influenza bug that’s been going around and we still are not quite over it yet. We are doing our best to start feeling better and getting ready for the warmer weather.😍

Sunny days, even in the winter, always make me more anxious for summer time. Maybe it’s the long winters–who knows!!

But anyways, I’m getting so excited for hotter days sunshine-iced coffee-beach-and did I mention SUN?! ☀

Some people can’t stand hot days but I actually really enjoy it. I love being able to cool off in water and no matter my weight, I always love wearing my swimming suit.

Sun bathing is totally my jam.

Lately, i have been experimenting with smoothies a little bit more, but man oh man, I have been on such a fruit smoothie kick!

In addition to the flavor, these smoothies are a great healthy way to get a quick and easy snack in while you’re fighting those anxiety attacks as well. There are some awesome tips here for kicking your anxiety to the curb , just an FYI 😉❤

I enjoy all of the healthy stuff too, but sometimes a girl just wants some fruit!

This time of year good fresh fruit is like slim to none around here. So, you just kinda learn to take the negatives of winter and turn it into whatever positive you can. So, frozen fruit it is!😁

Whatever you gotta do for some summer vibes, you just gotta do it.

I love being able to cook or assemble anything that’s delicious. I mean, who doesn’t? I used to be all about peanut butter and chocolate milkshakes but now I’m using my blender for a whole new healthier purpose–and I’m loving it!

Having small children is really really hard during flu season because it seems like they are always something sick and you do whatever you can to get them to stay hydrated and and to eat but sometimes it seems impossible.

I always used to stick with Pedialyte, Gatorade, juice, water, and crackers but this last years round of the flu, my kids wanted something a little bit more.

Plus, I’m learning through my own experiences is that your gut health is a lot of your actual overall health. And yogurt actually really seems to help when we have anything cold related.

We recently just got a new blender and have been experimenting with different fruits and making smoothies pretty much every day.

This one was a win for my children and they ended up eating all of it!

There is no veggies or nothing special in it compared to a lot of the other superfood nutrition or smoothies out there , but this one did it for us as far as a snack goes.

Plus– the kiddos love to help put everything together! There’s something about letting your kids help out with cooking that makes their food taste jus that much better😉

To actually make it healthier you could even add Greek yogurt instead and whatever else you like that would be good. Just do what tastes good to you. Do you girl!

The secret for all of the sweetness in my opinion, is the Dole juice.

The amounts of everything here can be varied for however much you are wanting to make obviously, but for us, this made about 24 ounces of finished delicious product.

First, we added the frozen fruit.

In my opinion, the best part about frozen fruit smoothies is not having to worry about any ice–at all! Frozen fruit makes smoothies so nice and cold and so thick.

You add about a half a cup of yogurt- we used strawberry, about 1/4th cup of Dole juice and two whole bananas.

It was the perfect consistency not runny–like, at all, and super sweet but in a good healthy way. 🤸‍♀️

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do for how sweet AND easy it is! Oh, and Happy almost spring! — T minus 2 weeks!:)
