Plus- one can be made into a punch for large groups!
Oh the ol’ american way!
Do Mexicans even make this holiday as big of a deal as us?🤔
Who knows..we keep doin what we do anyways.
If you care to know why Cinco De Mayo is even celebrated, according to Wikipedia:
The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican Army’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla, on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza….
So.. there’s that. So happy for them, honestly though!
We all know what tonight is really all about good mexican food, good drinks and good company!
(Well, that’s what it is most of the time from my experience😉)
However; good food isn’t always on the menu every day if we’re being honest here 😆
But, on tonight’s menus is my famous and authentic carne asada tacos!! 😋
